OPEN Conference
OPEN offers 5 beautiful conference spaces in a City Centre grade 11 listed part of the old Barclays Bank Building. Beautiful window dressings and boutique style accessories have recently transformed these rooms.
OPEN Conference has it's own separate entrance giving you the opportunity to hire the whole Conferencing suite and make it your own, or to hire individual rooms to suit your requirements. This is further enhanced by plasma screens which can display your own welcome message or maybe course details, even a short film or a series of images.
The Florin, Penny and Shilling rooms are set adjacent to the larger rooms and make ideal break out rooms or rooms for meetings of up to 8. They are set up as Boardrooms with 8 sumptious, designer leather arm chairs around a large oval table. These rooms have their own hot drinks machines so your meeting can be as private as you want it to be.
The Sovereign room, on the ground floor and the Crown room on the first floor both have very high ceilings and three large windows. These rooms benefit from large plasma screens, ideal for professional audio visual presentations, the tables can be arranged in various layouts for 20 people or stacked to the side to make room for a comfortable 40 people lecture style.
For larger Conferences our Main Hall becomes truly versatile. Representing a wonderful mixture of old original features with modern additions; this large 60m hall can be screened or opened providing spaces for 50 - 1,200 people . The newest and most extraordinary feature of this room is the 7m AV projection screen with state of the art projector and cameras assuring perfect reproduction of sound and vision for any event night or day.
Our brand new dance studio can cater for groups of up to 24. Features include a fully sprung dance floor, interactive whiteboard and projector, mirrored wall and height adjusted barre. Available for hire for dance, martial arts, yoga, drama and much more.

The OPEN Club is a contemporary nightclub space with state of the art sound, lighting and DJ equipment that can fit up to 420 people. Perfect for parties, live music events and a creative space for just about anything else.

OPEN Conference is part of the trading arm of OPEN and its profits are managed through ‘Closed' to return all profits into the charity meaning that when you hire rooms at OPEN you are helping to support the UK's first sustainable youth venue.

At present we do not have catering on site but currently work with a number of local caterers to ensure we can provide fresh and interesting refreshments within your budget.
